Registered users of the Southwest Observer earn points for various actions taken on the site. The following rules apply:

Rules
1. No facsimiles. Only online contribution entries will be accepted.

2. No purchase necessary.

3. Must be 18 or over to participate.

4. Winner must be a resident of Illinois.

5. Employees and families of the Southwest Observer and Romeii, LLC are not eligible.

6. Southwest Observer reserves the right to verify registration information before final determination of winners is made.

7. Southwest Observer will be the sole and final judge for any and all questions arising from this contest.

8. Odds are based on the number of eligible entries received.

9. Prize winners agree that their names and photographs can be used for advertising this and future promotions.

10. Winners will be posted online on or after January 1, 2009. In the event that multiple entrants have equal numbers of points, the Southwest Observer database software will choose one of those entrants randomly to win.

11. In order to be entered, the user must click the verification link in the registration confirmation email sent by southwestobserver.com and must have more than zero points in their total.

12. Use of automated tools, scripts, programs or other software to fill in content and earn points in strictly prohibited.
