Rasberry Ice Cream

Pick 10-15 rasberries from your garden. Place them in a bowl that is half filled with vanilla ice cream. Add whip cream on top of the rasberries.

Rasberries are now in season but they will no longer be two weeks from now.

As Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis takes heat for the city's rising crime rate, Beverly and Morgan Park neighbors are reeling from two separate shootings just four days - and two miles - apart that killed two and left two more injured.

In both shootings the victims were shot several times, and police have said that they don't suspect robbery as a motive. The circumstances are similar, the timing is remarkable, and the proximity of the shootings is worth noting. Do you think the shootings were related to gang activity?
