Hizzoner returns

After selling out all 12 fall and winter performances earning the praise of local theatergoers, Neil Giuntoli’s “Hizzoner” is coming back to the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St. (111th and south Western Avenue), Chicago, for three weekends in June.
The critically acclaimed biography/drama of legendary Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley, “Hizzoner” is a gripping play that takes a personal look at Daley and his 21 years as Mayor.
"Hizzoner” will be staged at the Beverly Arts Center Sat., June 14 at 8 p.m.; Father’s Day, Sun., Jan. 15 at 2 p.m.; Sun., June 22 at 2 p.m.; Sat., June 28 at 8 p.m.; and Sun., June 29 at 2 p.m. Tickets, which are expected to sell out quickly, are $40 for the first 4 rows, and $35 for the rest of the house, with discounts for Beverly Arts Center members. Group rates are available.
Authoritarian politician, family man and dynasty builder, Daley led Chicago from 1955 to 1976. “Hizzoner” touches on some of the city’s most fascinating personalities and events from the Daley years including columnist Mike Royko, Jesse Jackson, Jane Byrne, and the 1968 Democratic National Convention.
