FREE Jazz in the Courtyard at the Beverly Arts Center on Chicago's south side EVERY Monday.

Every Monday, 7-9pm, throughout the summer, FREE JAZZ in the Courtyard, performed by the Pat Noland Group.

The Pat Noland Group featuring Patrick Noland (piano and guitar), Pete Vancura (bass) and Rusty Jones (drums) plays jazz every Monday beginning June 25 in the courtyard. Bring picnic blankets or chairs.(In case of rain, concerts will move indoors.)

Alice visits with talking flowers in the delightful Chicago Kids Company version of “Alice in Wonderland” at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 13, 14, 20, 21 and 22.

The original one-hour musical based on the classic fairy tale is geared to children age 2 to 12.

Tickets are $10 per person; group rates are available.

The Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., is hosting movies, open mic performances, theater and improv comedy during Teen Thursdays, every week through Aug. 21.

A movie will be screened Aug. 7; performances by the BAC’s teen improv troupes –Beverly Big Mouths and Chick Improv Alliance are scheduled on July 31 and Aug. 21; and open mic will be offered Aug. 14 (performers are encouraged to schedule in advance by calling 773-445-3838, ext. 216.)
