FREE Jazz in the Courtyard at the Beverly Arts Center on Chicago's south side EVERY Monday.

Every Monday, 7-9pm, throughout the summer, FREE JAZZ in the Courtyard, performed by the Pat Noland Group.

The Pat Noland Group featuring Patrick Noland (piano and guitar), Pete Vancura (bass) and Rusty Jones (drums) plays jazz every Monday beginning June 25 in the courtyard. Bring picnic blankets or chairs.(In case of rain, concerts will move indoors.)

"The Year My Parents Went on Vacation”" (2007, Brazil), subtitled: Portuguese, Yiddish and German.

In 1970 Brazil, a young boy is accidentally left on his own when his political activist parents take a “vacation” from the repressive regime that is taking over the Brazilian government. He makes a street-smart friend, cheers for the Brazilian team, and watches the movement of the police and military while anxiously waiting for his parents to return before the World Cup finals.
