Body found in Kennedy Park

The body of a man was found Sunday hanging from a tree at Kennedy Park, 11320 S. Western Ave., according to police.

The death of Stephan Borvan, of the 11200 block of South Fairfield Avenue, appeared to be suicide. It was a gruesome discovery in a tree-lined area near the railroad tracks on the west side of the popular Morgan Park park.

Borvan, 39, was pronounced dead on the scene at 2:30 p.m.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office ruled the death a suicide Monday.
