The Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., is hosting movies, open mic performances, theater and improv comedy during Teen Thursdays, every week through Aug. 21.
A movie will be screened Aug. 7; performances by the BAC’s teen improv troupes –Beverly Big Mouths and Chick Improv Alliance are scheduled on July 31 and Aug. 21; and open mic will be offered Aug. 14 (performers are encouraged to schedule in advance by calling 773-445-3838, ext. 216.)
Doors open at 7 p.m. Admission is $5. Teen Thursdays are planned and presented by the BAC Teen Advisory Board and open to ages 13 to 19. Adult supervision is provided. Most events are hosted in the Studio Theater.
